Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build rapport and relationships with students to encourage and motivate students
  • Create and develop appropriate lesson plans and goal setting
  • Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring session
  • Assist with homework and projects, and review work with the student to ensure advanced comprehension of school materials and prepare the student for any upcoming teaching content, tests, or quizzes
  • Track, assess and analyze the student ‘s progress, complete progress reports, and communicate with the Supervisor about student progress

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and established high-level proficiency in subject matter, ESL or test prep
  • 2+ years’ teaching experience and familiarity with American elementary, middle and high school curricula
  • experience in utilizing online tutoring platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate about education and cultural diversity
  • Pass a background check and eligible to work in the US
