Middle School Social Studies
Middle school social studies classes cover a variety of subjects. These subjects include American history, civics, world geography and cultures, and world history. In American history, students learn about the origins and foundations of the United States as well as the core historical events that formed America. Civics introduces students to the foundations of the United States government and the law-making process. World Geography and Cultures teaches students about different geographic regions, landforms, and the people and their traditions that create our world. In middle school social studies, our tutors work with students on critical reading skills and writing skills. They will also help students learn basic concepts in each social studies discipline as well as engage with historical sources to provide a variety of viewpoints.
