Ms. Monteiro attended the University of Massachusetts, where she earned a B.A. in Teaching, a master’s of Education in Bilingual, ESL, and Multicultural Education, and Ed.S. in Reading and Writing. Ms. Monteiro is a teacher at an independent school in Florida and has been teaching English as a second language and working with international students for over ten years. She is licensed in Massachusetts and Florida K-12 ESL and Reading Specialist for grades 5-12 and currently teaches AP Literature and Composition and Honors English IV at her school. She also has extensive experience teaching and tutoring students as they prepare for TOEFL, SAT, and ACT.
